In an ideal world, every one that wanted to run, operate, or own a vehicle that required an Operator’s Licence would have the funds to pay for a full time Transport Manager - unfortunately this is not always the case. To obtain an Operator’s Licence you are required, by law, to nominate a person who holds a CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).

Unit 9 offers a service that will enable you to nominate and have a fully qualified HGV national and international CPC holder as your appointed Transport Manager, at a fraction of the cost of a fully employed one.

Service

Your Transport Manager, depending on your requirements, can advise and organise all vehicle inspections, book MOT’s, organise tachograph calibrations and reseals, take care of all tachograph downloading and keep all your records in order, relating to the terms and conditions of your Operator’s Licence.
